Eta Sigma Delta is Florida State University’s hospitality honor society, open to students within the Dedman College of Hospitality. Membership offers access to meaningful academic and professional opportunities, including networking with classmates and industry professionals, skill-building experiences, and engagement within a nationally recognized organization dedicated to excellence in hospitality.
Eta Sigma Delta integrates both educational and social components to support well-rounded student development. Members participate in activities such as picnics, socials, bowling nights, cooking classes, and movie events that foster community and peer connection. Each semester also includes structured professional programming—guest speakers, conference or hotel site visits, networking events, LinkedIn workshops, and opportunities to conduct or present industry research.
As a nationally recognized honor society for hospitality, tourism, and global club management students, ESD acknowledges academic achievement and leadership. Members receive an honor cord and pin at graduation to recognize their involvement and accomplishments.
