Academic Programs

The Dedman School’s required internship program encourages experiential learning as a complementary approach to classroom education. In addition to established internships throughout the U.S., the school offers internships with world-class operations in countries ranging from Ireland to Australia. Students are encouraged to enrich their education with its Summer Study Abroad Program in Leysin, Switzerland and Spring International Exchange Program in Krems, Austria.

Networking and leadership opportunities are available through student organizations — Club Managers Association of America, Eta Sigma Delta, Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, PGA Professional Golf Management Club — and a wide variety of school events. Dedman's unique curriculum parallels the requirements for membership in Florida State's Garnet & Gold Scholar Society. Generous scholarships support Dedman students along the way.
