Whether you are an aspiring first time in college student or transfer student, we are excited that you are considering the Dedman College of Hospitality! There is not a separate admissions application to the Dedman College of Hospitality and students may begin in the summer, fall, or spring semesters.

DCH Admission Requirements for Upper-Division Transfer/AA Students by Major
Admissions requirements for upper-division transfer students can be found on the Academic Program Guide’s Program Description for each major.
We strongly recommend that prospective upper-division transfer students complete an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from a Florida public college such as Tallahassee State College, Gulf Coast State College, Miami Dade College, etc.
While some courses may be offered online, all majors offered by the Dedman College of Hospitality are in-person programs and not distance learning programs.

Requirements for Progression to the Upper-Division Major
Admission to the degree requires the following:
- Admission to Florida State University
- Completion of at least 52 semester hours
- Successful completion of 1st & 2nd Gen Ed English and 1st & 2nd Gen Ed Math coursework
