Lydia Hanks, the J. Willard Marriott, Sr. Professor in Hospitality at the FSU Dedman School of Hospitality, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, an MBA from the University of Denver, and a doctorate in hotel, restaurant, and institution management from the Penn State School of Hospitality Management. Her teaching areas include lodging operations and service management. Her research focuses on consumer behavior, services marketing, and corporate social responsibility. Hanks is on the editorial board of the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Insights, and Tourism Analysis. She also serves as a reviewer for numerous academic journals and conferences.
