As Director of Sports Marketing & Special Events for Visit Panama City Beach, Chris schedules and facilitates sports events in all sports from amateur National Championships in softball and baseball to international events like the Visit PCB IRONMAN FL.  His tourism office sponsors and assists major festivals, concerts, and events and administers festivals like UNwineD, Pirates of the High Seas & Renaissance Festival, PCB Mardi Gras, and Beach Home for the Holidays.  He was involved from day one with the design and programming of the Publix Sports Park a 150-acre, 13 field outdoor sports complex, and is currently working on a new 100,000 sq foot indoor sports and event facility. Most recently, Chris was elected to the Sports Events and Tourism Association (Sports ETA) Board of Directors. Chris has served the Tallahassee and Panama City campuses as an adjunct and online teaching assistant; prior to working in Panama City Beach, Chris held positions at Naples Marco Island CVB, Visit Tallahassee, Seminole Boosters, and Circuit City Stores Headquarters in Richmond Virginia.
