Just as courses are being delivered remotely, the Dedman College of Hospitality Advising Offices are also advising students remotely. Remote advising includes advising via e-mail and scheduled appointment through Campus Connect. Scheduled appointments are not available during the first two weeks of classes.
If you are currently enrolled at FSU as a hospitality major: please reach out to Kim Burkes for Hospitality and Tourism Management majors, or Rachel McPherson for Global Club Management and Leadership majors.
If you are not a current Dedman College of Hospitality student: please email email@example.com using your FSU account (if possible). Be sure to include your full name and a phone number we can reach you at.
As we continue transitioning during COVID-19, we ask for your patience. Your message will be answered as promptly as possible and in the order that it is received. Please indicate the reason for your advising in the email subject (course scheduling, drop/add request, major change, holds, etc.) Initial response times could be longer than usual, especially during peak times - such as the first two weeks of classes and when the registration window opens.
Can I be advised via phone?
While working remotely, phone messages are directly sent to your advisor's email, so phone messages will be answered by email. If calling, please be sure to leave a message with your full name, FSUID, phone number and email address.
Due to confidentiality laws, we cannot discuss your academic records over the phone or through a non-FSU email account.
For academic emergencies, please contact Dr. Farr directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or 850-228-6389.
