Ohlin coauthors award-winning hospitality law textbook

A textbook recently coauthored by Dr. Jane Boyd Ohlin — Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Law: A Preventive Approach (8th Edition) — is a winner of the 2018 Textbook & Academic Authors Association's Textbook Excellence Award. The honor recognizes excellence in current textbooks and learning materials.

Ohlin, who serves as director for strategic development at the Dedman School of Hospitality, coauthored the book with Karen L. Morris and Dedman School adjunct Sten T. Sliger. Ohlin earned a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant administration (’79) and a juris doctorate (’86) at Florida State University.
